contact sensor not comming back

Hi every one,

I'm having troubles with an IR1530, the problem is the following:

the reader motor drives the contact sensor forward but does not in the other way around,

it doesn't come back,

any one know what it means?

Did you try to clean or replace HP sensor?

No, actually, the flat cable relating the scanner unit to the main control PCB

PN: FF6-1443-030 was damaged,

I replaced it, and every thing works properly now,
