    Canon usb to parallel cable..?

Does anyone know where one of these could be obtained. I have a client that has a Cannon IR3300 that needs the HDD replaced and the firmware installed. I have SST but I have read in multiple places that a "Canon" USB to Parallel is the only way to interface with this machine to install firmware and a crossover cable will not work.

    Thanks in advance,
    Adam

Not only do you need a new HDD, but maybe 1 that has the Canon specific P/N: also an older laptop with a Parallel Port and an earlier version of SST, they are not Tech friendly.

Some more info for you :

USB-Parallel cable (FY9-4368-000) supports Windows Vista / Win 7 with Service Support Tool (SST) v4.22 or above.

USB-Parallel cable (FY9-4154-000) does not support Windows Vista / Win 7 regardless of the version of SST.
