Toner Doors Opened From the Control Panel--
In Service Mode Level 2 make the following change.
COPIER>OPTION>DSPLY-SW> T-CRG-SW. Set T-CRG-SW to a 1.
Exit Service Mode and perform the following:
In User Mode,
enter SETTINGS AND REGISTRATION> ADJUSTMENTS/MAINTENANCE> MAINTENANCE> REPLACE SPECIFIED TONER.
Physically open the outer toner cover. From the drop down menu, select replacement not needed, then select which toner doors you want to open. The Blue remove toner cartridge button on the bottom of the screen will now become active.
After pressing the blue button, a message will appear; "the selected toner can still be used do you want to replace it? At this point, select YES. The toner doors will open at this time.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the cartridge. *
