    7095 With A1 Perfect Binder Won't Print

My 7095 with V2 Saddle Stitcher worked fine.

Installed the Perfect Binder and when attempting to make a copy, the finisher constantly cycles, display on 7095 cycles back and forth between suspended and waiting to print, but never pulls paper. The machine recognizes both the A1 and the V2, and in the correct sequence. Machine warms up, then goes into ready mode. No errors, no limited functions.

The tech left without an answer, but so far we have:

    1) Made sure the thin-net cables are seated properly and terminated on both the finisher and host machine (and tried both combos of having 2 T-s with a terminator at the Perfect Binder and just a T with the host signal going in and finisher going out).

    2) Checked and reseated the stapler cartridge.

    3) Shutdown the machine properly -- Held power on touch screen until Shutdown sequence came up, waited 5-6 minutes, powered off host machine), shut down A1 & V2, then powered back on in reverse order.

    4) Tried the reverse of #3.

    5) Tried unplugging everything from the wall as well.

All of the DIP Switches in the PB are off, the V2 was left alone (as it worked before). No error codes come up.

Any ideas on what to do next?

did you go into service mode and tell the machine that the perfect binder is now in-between the main unit and the finisher?
also you could have a firmware conflict depending on the level your copier and finisher are at compared to the level the perfect binder is at.

Yes, the perfect binder is setup as 1, the finisher as 2, on system monitor when trying to print, it shows the devices in the correct order.

Not sure about firmware or how to check.

you need to get into service mode and check what versions your machine, binder and finisher are reading. If upgrade is needed you will need the downloader PCB to connect the binder to your laptop to install the firmware.

            service mode>copier>display>version
