ImageClass MF-6530 Print capabilty

I aquired a ImageClass MF-6530 and was wandering if I need a seperate print board to print to this MFP. There is a USB port for scanning and that works fine. But when I try to print using this port my cumputer doesn't give an error, but the MFP shoots out a blank sheet.
