Have a customer who's machine indicates A4 for trays #1,2 and A3 for cassette 4, i reintered the values from door print out but only for cassettes #3 and #4. #4 still shows A3 where do i find the factory settings for casettes #1and 2. Thanks for replys.

Cassettes 1&2 are set to A4 ,while cassette 4 is set to A3 by default right from the factory and thus no values set for this particular cassettes.It is only cassette 3 that is given values coz it can be adjusted to cassette of your preference ie,A4R,A4,A3,etc. -

I feel like a bone head; went back to customers and found the settings for drawers#1#2#4 in service mode, options, cst. Factory values were not listed on door so i used the values from a ir 550 in house machine. Copier is working. Thanks for reading post.Comment

phew.. Im having the same problem except I am a tech not very familiar with the cannon IR 5000 but trying to figure out what settings i need to change to make tray 1,2,& 4 8 1/2 x 11 rather than A4. I must of unknowlingly reset something when i was trying to clear a fuser web error. A little step by step on the procedure would be more than Greatly appreciated. Thanks againComment
