80lb cover or 216gsm is the MAX for supported punch on it. Seems like GBC really overengineered this product. Its my only GBC product I have worked on, but I can assume that makes me lucky after workin on these!

You might check out the specs. I think your customer may be trying to do something beyond what it was designed for.

Is that the GBC turd? I think 80# is beyond what it is recommended to run anyway.

After finding a newer version of the parts book, I found a part number for the punch module assy. FC3-6703-000. Im sure it will cost a crap-ton but I bet it will fix my issue. I will post results after replacement. Im still open for suggestions if anyone has seen this, thanks

If anyone out there is servicing a fedex office store Im sure you have certainly gotten to work on the 8105 pro puncher c1. I dont have alot of pro punch experience but they seem pretty damn hard to work on to me. This one jams in the dieset 8 (comb or spiral dieset) every time right at the dieset. About 1/3 of the operator side of the paper is punched and the rest is only indented. Stops dead in its tracks same place, same way every time. It only does it on cardstock 80lb or heavier, on this dieset only. I have ran 3 hole punch cardstock and it will punch all day. This dieset is brand new and works fine on the other pro puncher 8105 right across from it. I replaced the dieset drive clutch today and did not help at all. Im feeling like its probably an issue inside the punch module assy but it looks really bad to get out and the part manual has npn listed for the assy. If someone can shed some light on this for me, I would be very grateful.
