    Poor Print & Copy Quality Issues without any errors

    Hello all;

    I have a Canon IRC3220 with an imagePASS-C1 print server and the problem that I am experiencing is the colors are not as vibrant and the black is not as clean as it was. I have recently added options to the unit such as a Fax Board, Color Universal Send Kit, and a Image Conversion Board and everything was great until my junior technician went into the Printer Tab and Printer Status / Settings Button and reset some of the options in the printer settings area.

    Do I have to perform a Calibration, if so, how do I do it as I do have the Kodak color slides that was with the copier?

    Also does anyone have the service manuals in electronic format for the IRC3220 that I am willing to pay for a copy.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks in advanced!

      First go into service mode and check your drum % is it over 100%? Technically they r past life if so...at this point they will still work without E20's but your quality will fade.
      Trash those kodak strips and get yourself a spectrometer I use a ES-1000 you will also need a copy of command workstation to calibrate. open command workstation enter password (default is Fiery.1) go to actions menu and chose manage color select 34 random patches...follow the on screen prompts.
      This should greatly improve the color quality...if not get new drums

      I have electronic manuals too
