Canon IR3570 Scanning File Naming ?

I am trying to change the way the scanning function names files. I can enter a name for my file - such as 12345 but the machine adds an underscore followed by the date after the name I have entered. Is there a way to change this setting? I want to be able to specify the way it names the files.

You can not change the file naming, it is that way so if someone sends a file with the same name it will not overwrite the first one.
