iRC2380 LCD Panel bottom section shimmering

Morning,

The bottom 1/4 of the control panel on the office iRC2380 is shimmering. In all other respects the copier is working fine - it just needs the odd clean of the waste toner container sensor when it decides that the container's not there.

Is the panel issue a common problem and likely to be solved by giving the panel connectors some attention (or even a component replacement - eg: a bad cap), or is it generally a replacement job?

If it's a replacement, can anyone provide a p/n and source - I see a few spares on ebay and Amazon, but some are only referenced by part number.

Also, is there an online source for a service manual (free or paid) - we're geared up to maintain it ourselves (it's not on a contract and we're an electronics engineering firm).

You need to replace the LCD screen

FL2-1148-000 LCD CONTROL PANEL UNIT

Thanks for that - any suggested UK suppliers?

I see that the part number is just for the LCD panel - is it relatively quick to fit this part into the whole panel assembly or would it be simpler to locate a whole control unit? (part no??)

Yeah must have replaced about 20 of these, got bored swapping out the LCD and just sourced control panels, even a few off some 3100's (dont tell anyone)

Any good ways to get a service manual for this unit?
