Hi all,
I'm currently trying to sort out a print issue that has occurred with a MF8180c simply after changing the three colour toner cartridges. For starters I have been using the following image as a test print:Laser-Printer-Test-Page[1].jpg
Unfortunately what I am getting out of the printer is the following:End Result.jpg
This print issue comes up both when printing and also when photocopying.
Now I'm fairly good with software (managed to reinstall the firmware on this unit after getting the whole 'download standby' issue) but I'm fairly inexperienced with the hardware. Having said that I have tried the original toners and also removed and refitted the drum cartridge and the effect is still the same. My thinking is that the drum cartridge may need replacing.
I should add that this printer was asking for all 3 CMY toners to be replaced for a while beforehand. Also after flashing the firmware I ran about 180 colour prints through it and they all printed fine. This issue came up after the toners were replaced.
Is there anything else I should be looking at with this or is the drum the likely problem?
