    Finisher T1 jam code 1001

    Has anyone ever come across this?

    machine jams on the outlet bit with half in the finisher. Doesn't reach sensor and is a delay jam

    leaned all rollers and checked all sensors with no luck, customer is miles away too!

    Thanks for help
    Have you tried turning it off and on? No...Oh, it works now!

    ================
    check and make sure PI103 changes state in I/O mode. PI103 can be checked in SERVICE MODE>COPIER>I/O>SORTER>P009>bit 0; make sure it changes state. If it changes state, check the actuator for responsiveness, if it seems sluggish, add a spring wrap. Also check the mylar that would cover PI103 from above, it has been known to move in a way to interfere with PI103's actuation. Check the foam pad that PI103 actuator rests on, in one odd case, the foam pad was missing causing this same situation where the finisher would only jam when multiple sets were made. The image below is for reference purposes, it depicts PI103's actuator and the mylar located above it.
