What is the Paper Size Override Function on the Canon Controller based printers
and how do you access it
Answer :
The Paper Size Override Function on the Canon Controller based printers is very similar to the setting on the Fiery based controllers called Convert Sizes.
The purpose of Paper Size Override is to convert a paper size when the paper size that is set in the printer driver has not been loaded in a paper drawer. The paper that is printed on will be changed to the following sizes:
Print Driver Setting Paper that will be printed on:
Letter ---> A4
A4 ---> Letter
11 X 17 ---> A3
A3 ---> 11 X 17
If [On] is selected, the paper size will be changed.
If [Off] is selected, the paper supply message will be displayed and the paper size will not be changed.
To Set Print Override:
Press: 1. Additional Functions
2. Select Printer Settings
3. Select Settings
Select Paper Size Override [On or Off]. (On newer Systems choose Paper Feed Settings and then Paper Size Override.)
