    Canon iR3300 Scanning Problem

    Hi all , can anyone please help me with this , i have a Canon iR3300 which is having scanning problem , After pressing the SYSTEM + Online by using the Network Scangear v2.21 as my twain.After clicking the scan button on the Scangear the Status window appear 0% and the loading bar not running and the machine is not pulling in the original to scan.It`s like the Network Scangear is not Triggering the machine to start scan.

    p/s : i have reinstall the Scangear Software ,Cleared DC COn, R-con , MNT-COn all most of it....1 more info ... this machine been using for 2 years and it`s working fine all the time.

    if you have a service laptop, try it with a direct connect to copier using crossover cable. This will remove the network and their stuff as a problem, and leaves you with the copier. It will help locate cause.

      1. Open ScanGear Tool
      2. Click Discover (it should show the IR3300). If not, click IP Address button and manually input Copier's IP Address & click ok
      3. Highlight the IR3300 copier in "select scanner from the list"
      4. Click select button.
      5. Click Test button.
      6. Click Exit.
      7. Open Microsoft Word or Acrobat 6+ or any software you wish to test.

          Thank you all for the reply ,

          by the way i would like to let you all know one more info so be easy to figure it out , i have another machine located in the same factory also a iR3300(Upstair) working fine , wherelse this Can't Scan problem machine is the one which is located downstairs.

            Hi, are you able to seen the copier through scan gear, if not check Network cables, and go in service mode by pressing additional function and 2 and 8 together then additional function again” go in option look for S/SLEC OR SCAN SELECT make it 1 FROM 0 press ok , reboot copier, it will work
