    canon ir5000/6000

    hello.. i am a new technician of xerox machine canon ir5000 may i asked something..
    how to ressett the counter?anybody can help me.. thank you very much ..

    Why would one like to do that? It is illegal and not reset-able.

      I think what he means is to clear the service counters like on the xerox's when you get out of service mode.
      service mode lvl 1 > counter > select the parts you've changed and his the C button on the countrol panel and then ok.

        oh.. im sorry i think, it can ressette that legal i dont know that is a illegal.

          U CAN NOT CHANGE THE 101 COUNTER/ others can be changed to suit the customer for tracking/billing/
          u need a 5000/6000 manual to see other counter descriptions

          You can check the machine's copy and print page totals on the display.

          1) Press [Counter Check] on the control panel.

          2) Press [Done].



          Tracking Print Totals / & Consumables Counters =
          are checked in Service Mode

          Service Mode by pressing the Additional Functions - 2 + 8 - Additional Functions key sequence.
          under COUNTER
          **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
