Canon IR3200 E001 0003 - thermistor

Thanks for your time in advance!
Working on a IR3200 with an error E00001 0003 Fixing unit is overheating - The reading of the no-contact thermistor remains 250C for 500 msec
The copier still shows the error code after the fixer is removed.
A little backround: The fixer unit rollers were destroyed & the fixing unit has been replaced completely with a new unit.
Also, the power shuts down after 120 secs or so, even in service mode.
Any ideas would be greately appreciated, thanks.

Error :
The fixing unit is detecting high temperature at the thermistor.
E001 with subcodes 0003 and 0004 is indicated even with the Fixing drawer out of the copier at time of power-on.

Workaround :
1. Clear the Error code in service mode and power cycle the copier
2. Inspect and clean the fixing connector
3. Inspect fixing roller for flat spot
4. Reseat J105 on the DC controller and perform DC-CON clear
5. Replace Heater controller PCB*
(this pcb is part of the DC Power Supply [FM1-0408-000])
6. Replace DC Controller PCB (FG3-3011-020)
