Canon IR Adv C5051 Color Streaking

Hi all,

I have a canon IR Adv C5051 that is having issues with both Cyan and Yellow streaks along the top edge of the paper.

I have already taken out the ITB and cleaned it good, vacuumed the Cleaning blade out and the inside of the machine, also they just installed a brand new Waste toner bottle in machine day before yesterday.

Also ran the "clean inside machine" from maintenance.

Still having issue,

What other steps could I take to resolve this.

It will be either the drum units or developer units.

There's numerous tech bulletins including some posted by our saviour teckat on the common issues with this. I believe there is a CQ troubleshooting in the service manual, however the service manual expects that the tech's who use it are trained by canon. It is what it is. Try drums first if not I've seen the dev's get caked on the mag roller, but most certainly the drums.

What I meant earlier was that there is No mention of color streaking in the service manual under troubleshooting or errors.

I figured it was one or the other, ended up being Cyan and Yellow Drums,

changed them out and there is no further streaking.
