Re: canon ir 3045 alarm 2 code 5000010 ?
-----------------
test if u can print internal prints
P-Prints, Test Prints, User Data List or ID Print Totals.
test all
see if an alarm light would flash > followed with a message
EXAMPLES :
If a P-Print, or Test Print was selected the alarm light would flash and there was a message "suspended" which could be cleared in the system monitor screen.
If a ID Print Totals was selected the alarm light would flash and the unit would lock up until the power was cycled.
If a User Data List was selected the alarm light would flash and there was a message "the output tray is full".
The alarm code in all cases was 50010 of which there is no description in the service manual.
In cases-----It was then noticed that someone had enabled tray 3 (the right side exit) and selected tray 3 as the tray designation for "Other Prints" which includes all internal prints. In this case tray 3 had the cover on and was unavailable as an exit.
If messages are received > check your tray designation for "Other Prints"/ make sure that the selected tray is available
All test prints exit appropriately, small script bubble at bottom left of touch pad. /??//Leave a comment:
