This is part of your lower Fixing Belt Assy. If you are going to change this, yes you should have the Service Manual handy because you have to dig into the Fixing Assy to do it. Too many steps to list here.

I've changed this part problably a few hundred times. I would recommend you also replace the nearby parts as a set:

Pressure Pad	FM3-1217-000
Pressure Pad Cover	FL2-2788-010
Oil Roller	FL2-5453-000
Lower Fixing Belt	FL2-6530-000
Steering Roller	FC5-9766-000
