    ir6055 transfer belt moving

Thanks for any help on this one.

saw customers transfer belt looked worn and had moved far towards the rear of machine, so ordered a new belt figuring old one was loose and caused it to move.
Installed new belt between the guide marks and within 20 copies it moves towards the rear of machine again. Nothing looks bent on transfer assy, ran about 300 copies all ok. I reseat belt again, but belt keeps moving towards rear past the guide mark. Only takes about 10 copies for it to move, within 50 copies it's a good 1/2 inch past the rear guide mark.

    Anyone have this issue before?

in my experience just replace the entire assembly. Bushings wear down and is very difficult to detect with the naked eye. Plastic tends fo flex a bit as well.
