Minimizing E020-0081 Error Codes
Publication describes an occurrence of error code E020-0081 due to a faulty shutter link (FC8-1775-000) on the Patch Image Read Sensor Assembly.
On the Patch Image Read Sensor Assembly, the shutter link contains bosses which ensure the proper position of the shutters. The above Serial Numbers affected may have a shutter link with a boss slightly shorter than the other bosses [a]. This may cause the shutter to be out of position [B]thereby creating an E020-0081 error code.
