Big problems ITB Cleaning Assy Ir 2380/3380

Every time I change The Cleaning Blade Assy here in Europe The Blade stall the hole itb assembly The Blade flips after a few Days This is not a problem with lubrification why it works for a few Days? Can anybody help me? ITB and Cleaning Blade new i have never seens this Problem! But why i have to change everthing if the itb unit is ok? Thanks in advance for every Advice

Had this issue my self. Being myself in Europe that makes 2 of us

I think Canon upgraded the ITB so this would not happen.

Check that white plastic gear on the machine side where the ITB get the drive.

I had a case with a cracked one.

Try lossening the blade pressure.

This happens when the ITB is worn, I always fit a new ITB & cleaning unit as a set, if the machine is a bit noisy this is a sign the ITB is worn, it's vibration from the cleaning blade.
You can use all the blade lube powder but the blade will still flip!

Never had this problem but putting drum powder on the Belt helps.

Canon have brought out a new itb the arm on the right hand side( when installed) is grey. We had plenty of issues like that here in South Africa. This sorts it for the long term. Lubricating etc are short term solutions.

The only ITB part number i found is FM2-5522-030000. If you have a new one, can you, please, send the part number ?

I know that when a blade flip, after that, it's more likely that it will flip again.
You can try to replace the blade again and lubricate the itb all around.

I attended a irc3380 today, the itb belt had completely shredded & wrapped itself around the drive roller, never seen that before!

Saw that happen on a iRc ADV 20 series about a month ago. Has something to do with the cleaning spiral in the itb
