[CQ] Light yellow on top of page iRAC5051i

Machine is : irac 5051i

Problem: Light yellow on top of page like a gradation failure. Visible with PG-5.
Customer is complaining that the effect is visible on printouts containing yellow color.

Actions so far:
1. Cleaning of all laser glasses + patches
2. Replacing drum
3. Replacing developer
4. Toner is OEM

What am I missing ?

I had this exact same issue, it was just the drum was not quite seated correctly, it was slightly higher at the front than rear.

Also are you using the correct colour drum, not using black drums for colour (they're cheaper) seen that cause cq issues too.

I plan to tear apart the laser today to clean the poligon and see what happens

Please try to remove the laser unit open the top plastic cover clean all the mirrors and polygun motor mirrors,it will be okay

Huston : I confirm - it was the poligon !

Good news : PG5 Rocks !
Bad news : My back hurts...

(I need to use a platform to raise the copiers at least 50 cm from ground)

To CopierTech : I cleaned the sucker. I could see a white-ish dirt at each angle of the poligon.
