So, after all this we replaced the DC controller and the error has gone but now no magenta is printed on the PG10 test?!

I've checked all the connections as well as the laser unit itself and the magenta drum but no luck. Even went so far as to replace the laser unit but it doesn't seem like that's causing the fault.

Hi guys,

I have a machine with the above error code, it comes up only when printing in color. Black and white is fine. Also the error goes after the machine has been restarted.
So far I have replaced everything as per the service manual i.e. the following:

The yellow drum unit(not sure why it only calls for that one?)
The registration patch sensor unit
Primary transfer HV PCB
Developing HV PCB
Primary charging HV PCB
Auxiliary HV PCB
The mentioned fuses were all testing correctly too.

I have updated the firmware as well to version 52.01 but still no luck!
The machine also had a major clean-up as I noticed there was a lot of toner on the laser windows and even some inside the laser unit.

If anyone knows what else could be the problem I'd appreciate some help.
