How can I set this new machine to stop its print run at 500 sheets to prevent exit jams ?

the previous C451 would stop at 500 with a message to remove copies from tray and press start to continue

any ideas ? I've checked the SW switch settings and don't see anything there

report it to km and request this feature be added to the firmware, seems silly that theres no output tray full sensor in standard form and no software control to compensate.

alternatively, an FS-533 will solve your problem, they aren't very expensive.

with only 2 trays on copier turn off Auto Tray Switching.
try flashing the latest firmware, that sounds like a logic problem to me because it should stop if it has no finisher, which new firmware may fix.
i pretty sure ive seen the "please remove blah blah" message on max exit before it makes you clear out the prints.
try the latest FW and let me know ok?
