1250 Bizhub - very slow printing with Acrobat portfolio. Any ideas?

When printing from the Portfolio function in Adobe Acrobat to our 1250, prints are sending from computer to machine at a normal speed, but seem to be taking an incredibly long time to process internally at the 1250's harddrive, so there are long pauses between the printing of one file and the other. We also have an 1100 Bizhub where this issues DOESN'T happen - files pretty much start printing as soon as the previous has finished. Anyone have any ideas of where I could look, settings-wise, to decrease the wait/processing time between files?

Are they using the postscript driver? Plug-in driver? Or the simple PPD driver?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

I was observing a PRESS 1052 the other day. I noticed that after each job in the machine's queue the MFP did it's final rotations, motors stopped, and homed out the finisher. After about 5 seconds the next job started. It did not matter what source, copy, print, internal reports. I think that's just how it works. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

there is a setting for pile allow, (print and copy) i'd turn it on.
