    C250 Network fax to PC

    Can the C250 recieve a fax from another type of fax machine and turn it into a file or email and send it to a PC on the network? I have looked thru the Network Fax Operation Guide and it refers to IP Adress faxing and Internet fax but I don't see how either one of these puts the fax on the PC.

      Gateway TX is not enabled. To enable Gateway TX, perform the following:

      1\Enter Utility--administrator setting;

      2\select fax setting--forward TX setting;

      3\Don't choose OFF.

      Good Luck!!!

        Don't get confused, the instructions I attached earlier are correct (copied directly from the Users Guide), this is a C250 not a Bizhub 250. Gateway TX does not apply.

          Yes you can forward faxes to electronic format. If you want to forward as pdf and not tiff make sure you have the latest firmware levels.
