    Need nvmreset tool for bh 224e, 284e, 364e

    Hi ..
    Does anyone has A55VFW.tar file ..?
    I have some b/w need to reset nvram.
    Please... and Thanks

          Thanks for reply..

          Cause I got c180 .. as I found it is related athentication device setting

          I tried clear and initialize settings and all but still no luck..

          So I want to try reset nvram but it is really hard to get that resetter file.

                      Sounds like there's an authentication device on. Turn it off.

                      The reset tool you mentioned is used to wipe mfp board settings when installing a used mfp board. The machine settings will remain in the ssd.

                          service mode, stop 9 set mgt function choice to unset.
                          We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

                              Hi guys,

                              i too need A55VFW.tar file. The machine does not boot, if I try to update the firmware it gets stuck at MFP board updating.

                              Is this thread alive, can anyone help me/us?

                                      I've had this happen several times. Before using reset tool try firmware update selecting only MFP. This has worked for me.

                                          Could you provide us with the A55VFW.tar for an issue with one of our 554e models? Why our mykonicaminolta access doesn't supply this reset tool is beyond me.

                                                  I have wondered that for the longest time. They give us all kinds of firmware, drivers, and other "data" files but to "officially" get that file, requires a call to KM support.
                                                  Worked in IT for 12 years from Helpdesk up to System Administrator. Now working as the IT Manager at a copier company for the last 4 years.

                                                      Because the official use cases are so limited that you should not encounter any conditions for its use throughout the life of the machine - that's theory.

                                                      But life is life, and as above - I pretend to be a service technician, encounter error CC180, and instead of disabling the authentication device I will use "Atomic Bomb".​
