We have a c224e out and even though the sounds are off when in low power mode or sleep mode it beeps every 20 secs or so. It s driving the user mad as he likes quiet,I can see his point.Thanks for any answers.

You turned off the sound settings in accessibility? Are all of them off?
If they are....find where the beep is coming from...either the fax speaker or the speaker in the rear of the display panel and unplug it

I had one of these making crackling noises at a prison, turned out the docking station for the cb radios was on the other side of the wall and interfering with the audio amplifier for the speaker.
I asked the customer, what do you want, this continuous noise or no noise at all, including beeps?
Solution, i unplugged the speaker. Problem solved.Comment
