    bizhub c368 no network tab in admin screen

    bizhub c368

    arrived onsite...
    looked at network port on copier
    amber and green light flashing on network port almost to solid

    unable to enter admin mode...
    locked by onsite network support
    acquired password

    entered...
    no network tab

    went to service mode
    initialized network settings
    in system 1 initialization

    rebooted copier

    waited 10 minutes...
    went into admin mode
    network tab available

    tested copier
    copies, prints, faxes, scans, etc.
    all work...

    next I had to re-enter
    network settings

    I retested copier... all worked...

    connected it to customer network...
    unable to print and scan

    customer had managed switch that controls network drop
    customer reinitialized...
    print jobs started printing...
    no scanning...
    onsite network support re-entered scan to email settings
    issue resolved...

    I ran ethernet through surge protector
    and issue resolved...

    if that didn't work I would have to

    worst case scenario
    Sad To Say I Don't Have a Life
    I do this stuff on the weekends too
