    C1070 registration swaying.

I have a c1070 that the entire image is swaying back and forth in the feed direction during printing. Classic registration clutch symptoms. However I have replaced conveyance clutch and pre-reg clutch already. Thinking conveyance drive board. Anybody seen this?

    Thanks

Try to disable registration swing and check is there some improvements.

Yes, not familiar with this model but would say to try adjustments of registration amount/loop through the service mode and see if it helps. Good point Toxic.

Heard a couple stray clicks going on. Found registration idler gear on front of conveyance unit had some worn teeth. Replaced the gear and all is fixed. Thanks guys.

          Which gears? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
