Why do you ask? Those bit registers could simply be unused.

Because they are used on machines belonging to a company I do IT for (and have been changed from default).

not sure if it's what you're talking about, but in "user settings" then "printer settings" , "basic settings" there's a setting "A4/A3-Lgl/Ltr" so it automatically changes the paper size.

if im not totally insane yet, i remember seeing an option in admin somewhere that allows to override weather to use the driver you choose driver priority or machine priority for printing.
i think you must specify the tray first and ignores a discord of type i think.

thats only for the bypass tray

What is Engine FW DipSW 19 for? Got a C368 on GCH-X4 latest base firmware.

I've just reviewed this Thread & nobody has mentioned these files/tools so here they are:

The attached zip files contain: 1) a Konica Minolta Master Soft switch excel file dated 2017 with details about switch settings that you browse through.
& 2) (from a KBA that no longer appears), a KM Soft switch Tool used when you export the management list to usb.(4e models & later).
It will read the S1***.csv file & compare it to the default list file & display non matches.
You can also import a 2nd S1***.csv file to Match the 2 files that you just loaded into the spreadsheet.

Typically when there is a mismatch the info about the soft switch is then displayed.
You could also manually overwrite the Hex value to see what detail shows up.

Perhaps the tool was pulled because it was not updated & does not have recent ssw changes?

so it seems you want to drive a car with 3 flat tires?
the copier is a color machine and self calibrates frequently. you cannot tell it to just calibrate black. its against the programming.
if it cannot get a good reading from the missing colors because its out of toner the machine will not produce a page.
short answer, replace the depleted toners or buy a monochrome copier.

i just want to know if its possible to put this on machines like series 8/7 for the costumer dont abuse till the toner arrive to him i put a video below... the language it is in portuguese

if it cannot get a good reading from the missing colors because its out of toner the machine will not produce a page.
short answer, replace the depleted toners or buy a monochrome copier.

When I was working on Samsung for a while, all the replacement boards came to us set to Portuguese display language. With a little help from one our Portuguese speakers I was able to get it set to US English: When Ready ("Preparada") press Menu x2 to "Conf. maquina" > right arrow x3 to "idioma" > Enter > left arrow x2 to "[English]" > Enter.

idioma is language
maquina is machine ... I think. =^..^=

i just use google translate when ever something flips to foreign language

Reminded me doing firmware update on Brother machine with black touch screen but responsible.
It was interesting, but after uploading successful main firmware it restarted as it should and same for sub firmware. Nevertheless nothing helped but main board .

The documents that I have do not say specifically, but there are 10 possible settings for that switch: 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84.

How brave are you? The worst possible outcome would be ... say, changing the display language to Indonesian, and being unable to reverse it. =^..^=
