Are sure that Engine FW DipSW has HEX value? Back to the learning board then. They are all On or Off.

Nevertheless you may nail it, just highlight it and reboot the machine.

Thank you for this info I will check this setting next time i'm on site.

I also found out SW83 disables the media sensor but the service manual doesn't state what the HEX setting should be.

You can disable paper type sensing:

PSWC > Administrator > System Settings > Auto paper detection setting (or "Paper type auto detection settings.") > ON/OFF

* This setting is displayed when the device is equipped with the option [IM-102: Intelligent media sensor].

But also you can try to make weight calculation again:

■ Weight calculation default settings
(1) Display the Service Mode screen.
(For details of how to display the Service Mode
screen, see the service manual.)
(6) Touch the Start key.

Is there a SW to disable the media detect sensor on the C650i ?

I have a device with 80gsm loaded but it keeps switching the trays to 120gsm.

On color DinA4 machines, old bizhub C3350 (not "i" suffix), changing between "KM" or "Generic":

Software Swith Setting No. 13
hex 08 Generic.
hex 04 Konica Minolta.

DipSW No.243(bit 0)
The function to add the name of the login user to the head of the Scan file name when scanning.
0x00:disable(default)
0x01:enable

Here is another one to add. Software SW 24 Hex 01, prevents machine from printing a blank page on custom PCL print job because of a form feed command. Works on everything from C220\C452 series up to I series.

Switch 10 Hex 2 will make a Generic (Muratec) a Konica. This is important when it comes to drivers picking up all device options, paper tray information and accepting authentication account track information if current "Generic" drivers aren't available. We sell both, but sometimes Muratec doesn't release drivers fast enough for equipment they offer. We just installed a Muratec C5595i and had to do this so we could use the Konica C550i drivers. Muratec hadn't released them yet.

If you do this be aware that the IP address may change. I have done this several times on a machine that has been installed and each time the IP address changed to DHCP. I had to go into the network and manually enter the correct IP address
