Konica 7040 Finisher tray fail

there could be a dozen things wrong with it. need more info. like jam or failure codes it is giving. if no codes are given, go to the memory switches and make sure 10-1 is turned on then make it jam again and see what the code is. it may be something as simple as the staplers not working correctly. i've had problems with the staple advance (tiny rubber wheel) in the cartridge being too slick and not moveing the row of staples foward. clean them off good with alcohol.

I get a finisher tray failure. common sense will say the finsher tray is kaput. Any ideas what i can do besides get a new finisher tray.
