    Knick on the fuder sleeve

Good day all. Hope everyone is safe and well.
I've got this knick on the fuser sleeve. Pretty small but it shows up on he print in the most strange areas. Well most prints especially when we're doing booklets. Is there anyway to change the roller or sleeve on this KM C454e?

    Thanks again

I have replaced rollers on kyocera machines, since they are available. but on c454 you may have to get a whole fuser unit. Unless you know how to get them apart and rebuild them.....

They sell aftermarket fuser sleeves & rollers. The sleeve is same as C224 & 4 series. The C454 & C454e uses a different lower roller but sleeve is same. Sleeve cost around $50. Takes a few hours to rebuild the fuser first time doing it.

This was discussed a lot here: Bizhub C224e/C258 series fuser premature failure

I prefer to just replace the whole fuser and avoid the risk of something going wrong rebuilding these. But 50K is a very low click count on that fuser so , if money is an issue, they do sell aftermarket sleeves. Not sure if you can get them or who you use for parts on your island.

Yes, at first I was concerned he was referring to a body part. Sounded extremely painful.

Hey, make sure the filter is clean. Alternatively, replace the toner filter
In some cases, they may cause toner to build up and damage consumables.

I would get another fuser while you rebuild this one. Depending on how long it takes to get the parts...

We stock those brand new OEM fuser units. That sure looks like the OEM Konica sleeve to me.
