    Bizhub C450i update

    Hi, I have a confusion with bizhub C450i.
    Today I proceeded with the firmware update but it failed. The printer works perfectly and the USB ports are enabled. It currently has G00-B6.
    I have tried 2 sticks and they work perfectly for 4050i, 227 and C257i which I have updated at that time.
    On Infohub, however, there is confusion: perhaps an error by Konica Minolta because it initially said that the firmware for the C250i/C300i/C450i is the same. But then it became a firmware only for C450i/C550i/C650i

    FW_AA7N0Y0-F000-G00-E9.exe is the firmware correct?
    The printer is new. Did I miss something?

      For here in the states anyway, FW AA2J0Y0-F000-G00-E9.exe is the F/W for the C450i only. It has its own F/W separate from the C550i & C650i which I thought was weird and unlike previous series.
      Started in the copier service business in the fall of 1988 and worked at the same company for 33.5 years, becoming the senior tech in 2004 but left to pursue another career on 4/29/22.

          Yup should be different from a C250i.

              I was able to update remotely
              Maybe Konica Minolta did some poultice on infohub in EU

                  Yes, the firmware for C250i to C450i is the same.

                      I guess they are!! I was just going by the web page on KM One Stop where the F/W is all listed. It only shows the C450i model listed on that page but the F/W is the same as the smaller segment machines. What a confusing mess which doesn't even surprise me! In the past, when machines are grouped together like the smaller segment machines and the larger segment machines, one of the larger machines usually doesn't share F/W with the smaller segment machines. Apparently now they do. Still learning new stuff on a weekly basis after all these years.

                      Edit:

                      Just noticed the Movie Data is the same for C450i, C550i and C650i. So, the movie is different than C250i-C360i for C450i but the F/W is the same as C250i-C360i. Oh, and the pdf files included with each F/W is different as well. WTH was KM thinking on this one?!

                          The firmware didn't work for me. I have not tried with that of the bizhub C250i.
                          I proceeded with the update via WWRSPF which worked but I don't know what firmware is used.
