    Ineo 250i restart problem

    Hello everyone,
I would like your help. I have an ineo 250i printer with a strange problem. The printer keeps restarting by itself. I installed the new latest firmware, deleted all the settings, formatted the ssd, tried with other versions of the firmware but all the same. I also turned off the options auto reset, power save, sleep mode, etc.

    Service codes?
A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 4 years.
My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

It is a well known error, there are several threads about it in this forum. You have the wrong CPUB, STRGB or both.

I would first of all disable the auto reboot after error code to check the error code exactly, also try to disable marketplace and check the TCR values of the CMYK

Run the GXX recovery firmware. It may tell you if you have a bad CPUB or storage board. Even if they both check good I would replace the CPUB , if that doesn't fix it then chances are you have a bad storage board. Just dont replace both boards at same time and make sure you follow these instructions if replacing CPUB .

Thank you very much for the information and help. I did the testing and it said that the components are correct. The voltages are ok. I tried with other versions of the firmware but without any success. I ordered a new CPUB, so I will try to solve the problem with that, if not, then I will continue to investigate.

There is any way to use CPUB from c250i and put it to c450i? I have brand new c250i...

Unfortunately, you cannot replace CPU-B between C250i and C450i because they have a different pin configuration on the slot.
Even though they are very similar and have the same firmware.
The good news is that they can be fixed quickly.

Using the new CPU-B does nothing to solve the problem.
If you always use a new CPUB with KM to repair it, it means that your problem is solved.
The GXX software is useful when the device boots,
but it is not possible to repair the module using the firmware because the damage is hardware related.
