If you have 2 bars, and blue lamp is on, it says DIMM failure. Since you had the purple power light it's likely you have 2 RAM DIMMs installed. Try them one by one in the primary slot. According to this one or both may be bad.

If you have 4 bars it says you have an MFPB failure but also suggest this could be memory related.

Given this additional information I may want to take back my "put an SSD in it" recommendation.

      there are two bars.
There is a single 2 GB PC5300 ram. on dimm port 0 I tried putting it on dimm port 1, no improvement.
I also tried with another bar.

I forgot to specify, before the printer no longer started, it remained on preparation of the user box. The memory displayed at the top right of the screen was at 2% normally it is around 100%

thank you in advance for your help

That model is absolutely going to require a working DIMM in port 0. It's not like a PC that doesn't really care all that much.
Are you sure that other stick is good? Got an old laptop you can run memtest with to be sure?

Either way we have to rule out the RAM or the SSD. One of those two is bad. RAM is a little easier to swap around than data on the SSD.

The firmware is version 7 however I cannot activate air print
bonjour and apple talk are enabled. The air print menu does not appear. Should I activate another service?

iOS 17 and above broke Airprint on the 4e-series of machines, so even if you manage to turn it on, it's not going to work. You will find that nothing (or maybe just the first page) will print, and then the machine will be locked up for hours as the phone continues to send the job over and over again, while the copier sits there and tries to process hundred (thousands?) of jobs that eventually error out after a period of time.

+1 to what femaster said. AirPrint on iOS 17 no longer works with older AirPrint devices.

Use the Konica Mobility Print App. It doesn't use AirPrint but allows printing from mobile devices. You may as well turn off apple talk. Mac OS X hasn't supported it in a long time.

I'm still using iOS 16, so I didn't have any problems before changing the SSD card. Do you have any idea why I can't activate airprint?

Hit Utility -> Device Information. On the second page, what firmware version is displayed?
If i'm remembering correctly it was added after a certain version. Memory is getting fuzzy on that though.

That's your function version. Firmware and function version are two different items. What firmware version do you have installed?
