    c754e cyan imaging unit problems

    Good morning.
Any kind of help will be welcome...
The cyan imaging unit for some reason spills all the developer out and into the waste toner container. 3 days ago we changed the development unit for a new one with its initialization chip. The machine was working perfectly. Today the client contacted us with the same problem. We have reinstalled another new developing unit and changed the toner (original). The machine has worked perfectly again, but we think that the machine may have some type of more serious failure and that within 3 days it will fail again.
    Any help is appreciated
    c754e.pdfThank you

    Gracias

Try this thread, there is a PDF in there detailing Cyan/Magenta dev problems on this series of machine.

It could be the toner vac system at the rear of the DV units that is blocked or the Toner Filter is chocked full. This will cause the Dev unit to "spit" toner onto the drum / charge grid causing the image defect you have provided.

If I ever replace a Dev on this series of machine I always replace the Drum at the same time, these machines are notorious for C Dev issues.
i replaced the Cyan DV, and DV Unit and the chip, just a few months ago, the DV is now been used up like it want getting toner, but there's no leak, spill, cyan toner anywhere to suggest a leak, there is over a half a bottle of cyan toner in the machine its OEM, i checked the sliding door at the DV shoot and the machine, its

The cyan drum & developer should unit come as on unt, they are not designed to be replaced separately, if you are using a non OEM dev unit this could be your issue.

If the HVT is bad you can get these symptoms.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
