Hey bro, Merry Christmas, how are things? All 4 series machines should be crushed and replaced immediately, thankful we only have a handful left.

Cuz it's a more work for the service and I don't know where is the thin line between user serviceable parts/digital office and toner/sweat and blood.
I may become harder with the age opposite to the others 😂

Especially if machine is under warranty, so you need to go to this machine and work for free.

- machine 2 months old, 2.5k prints, not printing cyan, probably toner hopper problem, estimated 4h of wasted time (trip+work)

- machine not fusing, 3 visits, replaced two fusing units, problem unsolved, customer angry, lawyer, vague KM theory about thermistors, all day in-house testing on brand new machine, why the hell those machines can rise temperatures in idle to over 210 degrees then at work cycle lowers them to 130 degrees, confusion: all those shitty machines can't properly fuse, idea: let's do stupid things, machine started to fuse properly, temperatures stable, customer so far happy, nothing burned, conclusion: machine designed by accountants

And so on, day by day...

Still the same result

I don't know the full story but what I know is that the CPU board was replaced to fix a boot-up problem.
Now it shows "enter serial number" so the serial number i wrote is from the label.

The product is a Generic (Olivetti labeled) version of the C257i.

This is really important information!
The request code is generated on the basis of the serial number, among other things - and your serial number is just blank at this moment, as on your photo (not the one, you took from label).
That's the reason of errors

We can try again, but I need fresh code unfortunately.
The entered CE Password Reset Request Code cannot be used due to the expiration. (MFP date in the code: 2023/12/07)
