    Bizhub C224e stuck on 2 bars and start button shining red.

    Hi Guys,

    C224e stuck on 2 bars, tried to install new SSDB, but not possible to install firmware again stuck on 2 bars. New Ram chip was installed same problem. We disconnect HDD and all peripherals still same. I noticed than on working machine on the mfp board shining 2 led diodes on the top side of the board and 1 led located behind the HDD, on this machine no one led shining. Maybe someone have experience about this led diodes why they dont shine and is it mfp dead or some reason make him to not work.

    This is very good but now old machine.
    They started to experience problems with battery, HDD, SSDB. Now with no leds your MFPB is probably dead. If you changed already new SSDB and you put new MFPB it won't recover data.
    Hard to tell but I would put back original SSDB and try reset tool.

      Old SSDB is back of course, but reset tool will not work, because machine dont start to boot. Also noticed that on service usb when connect usb with led not flashing.

        Since it's a 4e-series machine, try to boot into diagnostics. Hold down power button on control panel which turning on the main power switch. It will take a few minutes, but should boot up to the diagnostic screen. If it doesn't boot to diagnostics, take note of all the LED lights (power, data, etc.) and the number of fins. That will tell you are what point the boot process is failing.

          We do this, but diagnostic screen never come. Machine freeze on 2 bas/fins and start button shining in red.No other lights shining or flashing.

              From fans and motors coming noise, seems PRCB is ok, the display is on 2 fin!

                Here is the relevant page from the troubleshooting guide. Since it never makes it to the data indicator turning on, your problem will be somewhere between stage 4 and stage 8 in the boot process.

                    This week I provided support to a C454e that was stuck in the 2nd tower and would not accept Firmware or Reset tools.
                    I disconnected all accessories from the Sorter/Fax/Adf equipment and updated the G20-M1 Firmware and the equipment started working normally again.
