We regularly receive pre-leased Konica Minolta copiers from Nordic countries. All copiers are sanitized before being shipped to us. The sanitization routine roughly goes like this: service mode initialization/out of service wipe --> HDD/SSD removed and wiped through Blancco --> reattach HDD/SSD.
I have been revive most copiers back to working order by installing firmware, however, there's still some copiers that won't take firmware. I have bee able to narrow down the symptoms into 2 categories.
1. Firmware installation freezes at start up
2. Firmware installation ends in error "Firmware download NG". (machines with Bizhub Secure)
With the 1st scenario, I'd think the only solution is to change the CPU-board, but the second scenario is more interesting. I was told that formatting the SSD into FAT32 and using older firmware would work, but I don't have access to older firmware. The versions I have at hands are:
Thanks in advance
