Re: C-5109 Can't print multiple pages

just replace the sensor there is no adjustment or calibration there is another one in duplex drop down unit not worth time and trouble to swap just replace it it is common these sensors go out

dip switch 26-4 to 1 disable auto centering in pf
    until you replace sensor

if machine is at proper height and leveled with pf . then run auto centering each tray and adu check to see if adjusted numbers are between 0 and +- 200 if you get crazy high numbers replace centering sensor

search the part# of ps40 and see if there is another one somewhere on the machine or the 707m you can just swap it and see if trouble follows the sensor.
I found other ps40s, but they don't seem like the same part. Is there a different part number I should be looking for?

IIRC there is a calibration for that sensor also. =^..^=

    C-5109 Can't print multiple pages

I can't more than 2-4 pages at a time on my C6100. Every time I try I get a C-5109 call service error message. This happens are any size paper I try and use.
I found that it means a problem with the centering sensor on my PF-707m. I've cleaned the sensor. I also ran an IO check 18-01. I got the result 65535 which is abnormal.
Is there anything else I should try before taking it apart to check the wiring?
Working...
