We recently got a new C300i with no cyan output. It turned out that the Laser Unit was the cause and it was fixable:

Check the PCB on the laser unit and especially the solder points for the laser diodes - ours was poorly soldered with just a tiny bit of solder on one of the pins. It might've worked during a factory test but the solder connection was not reliable enough to stand against shipping movements / vibrations. We decided to re-solder it since we needed the machine and it worked fine.

It seems that the PCB is mounted and soldered to the laser diodes manually during production and one of the guys there missed watching the orientation video

Just to give an update to this all sorted new laser unit has sorted this issue.

Checked the PCB with the Laser Diodes on it all Solder joins look ok but am going to resolder the connection on to see if it fixes the issue with it
