    Bizhub C759 fuser drive gear

Do the 26T gear for the C759 fuser have a part number? Checked my catalog (2018 version), shows no part number the 26T gear.
Looked on SSD for bulletins related and "one stop" for updated catalog only show accesories.
Mobile Manuals no help. If I missed something at mykmbs let me know. Hate to order another fuser just for a worn gear.

    Thanks

Looked at the latest parts catalog and I don't see a 26T gear listed for either the fuser or the fuser drive. If you could be a bit more specific, perhaps I could nail down which gear you are referring to. Maybe include an image of the area of the parts catalog and indicate which part you are talking about? If I had to guess at this point, I'd have to say no, there is no part number for it. But without knowing which one for sure, it's only a guess

OK, the main drive gear in the fuser. Honestly, I don't think they have ever made those available as a part on any of the fusers in the last 10+ years, except for maybe the small desktop style machines. I can't recall any at least. I do see they have replacement parts available for the cleaning units and pressure rollers in this model, which is a change over what they have done for previous models. Unfortunately I've look through everything I could think of and came up empty handed on this.

Is it possible that you could claim this under warranty? That would certainly fall under a claim if it's not over it's life expectancy, and you are an authorized KM dealer.

for that gear to wear down like that the fuser pressure is tighter than a clams ass.
the bearings could be somewhat seized too. it should spin easy and the lower roller should not be wrinkled as a scrotum in ice water.
try and warranty the fuser, konica doesnt even ask for the old ones back on some models iirc.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...

Out of warranty. I looked also and came to same conclusion on this gear. The C652 gear woiuld wear premature and i believe KMBS later offered that gear as a part.
I have not had this happen on the 4 series, that model teflon on heat roller would peel long before gear gave out. Since the 2 series I inspect, grease and oil bearings and bushings every 8 weeks for high volume users lessening failure from a siezed bearing. This unit only has 500K on it both heat and pressure roller are in good shape.
I did see a bulletin note where there was a change in the fuser assembly. Will have to search for that.
The only trouble this unit gives is magenta IU wears in less than 80K prints, no matter how often it is serviced.

Thank you all for checking but I agree KMBS is not offering that gear as a replaceable part.

That was my thought as well, or at least it was close to that, maybe not quite as colorful. I haven't seen wear like that since the early 552 style fusers.
