    [Misc] Konica Minolta c450i

    Hi,
After installing new Firmware, I tried to log in as Administrator but the Default CE password doesn't work (1234567812345678) and the password for the Service Mode doesn't also work (9272927292729272).
For sure I tried other passwords but the same result came again.
Note: No one has changed the Default passwords.
    What can I do???
    Thanks in advance

Try getting into CE through the trouble reset screen and see if the default password works there.

boot to a firmware stick but select "machine type select" and verify they arent both set to FF.
if there are other numbers and letters you can leave it alone.

      its worth checking.

      The medication helps though...

How far of a jump in firmware did you do? Try rolling machine back to what was on it, then stepping it up. I don't skip over function levels, if coming from function level 1 I go to the lowest function level 2 firmware then set it to function level 2 . then I step up to next function level until I get it up to the latest. Another thing to note , I know it sounds weird but when coming from very early firmware when upgrading it would do strange stuff if movie firmware didn't match was it said it should have in the read me. So if you are coming from a very early version firmware delete movie data (aka Image Data ) until you get machine up to latest level then install latest movie (image) data.

the admin mode wont work if you set the function version higher than the firmware supports

Does this also apply for webmode?

admin access security is the same via web or panel.
              did you check the machine&type?

I can confirm that service mode couldn't be entered if wrong machine type is set.
But if this is the case it would show a service call error after startup.
I would check CPU board with diagnostic tool.
