    One Red line

    Hi,

KM Bizhub Pro C6000l - bought for learning and starting point for book printing. I'm a little addicted - to printing and creating process from start to finish.

The red line manifested itself on some prints with magenta color.

    What's neded to be done.

    1. clening ( it was done - one time but is here again)
    2. replace the drum & corona
    3. developer

    Happy printing ...

    Re: One Red line

99% of the time that line is just a dirty corona wire or grid.
just swap coronas next time and see if the line follows the parts.
    same for drums.
might save you a ton of money narrowing down the exact part.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Haven't worked on these big boys but I can't imagine a super fine line like this is caused by a charge grid/corona. I would have guesses it's a groove on the drum surface.

its very common, even a fleck of dust on the grid or wire can cause that exact width line.
