    Konica Bizhub Pro 1200 BW

    Hi, hoping someone can help.
I do not see where this FM34 is located in the parts manual. Every other fan is shown.
Does someone have a later manual that might show this FM34 fan or know the I/O number to test

    Error Code 5342
    • Description: Collection pipe cooling fan (FM34) power abnormality. The FM34EM error detection signal is detected twice in succession within a specified period of time after FM34 was turned ON. At this time, 24V is normal, but an error detection signal (blowout of ICP) is detected.
    • Causes: Collection pipe cooling fan (FM34) Printer control board (PRCB)
    • Remedy: 1 Check the connector connection and the wiring between PRCB and the fun, and repair it if any abnormality. - 2 Rotate the fan by I/O or hand, and repair/replace it if any abnormality. 1-L 3 Replace FM34 and PRCB at a time.

    Thank you

You would not happen to know where this is. I am hoping it is not behind the toner bottle.

i see that fan sitting directly above one of the wheels on the frame.
        should narrow it down.

Thank you everyone for the responses. Anyone know the I/O number to check fan.

FYI, I must have had an old version of the parts manual because I found the same image and it said FM12 not FM34

Parts layout diagram shows it behind the printer control board.

Thank you, this is exactly where it is.
Not an easy task for anyone. Control Board is the easy part. Getting the backing plate off is the nightmare.

Wait until you have to pull the waste toner tubes out. That's a lot of fun too!
