    AccurioPrint 2100 opinions?

Good afternoon colleagues, I have not worked with production equipment so far but I need to sell and service an AccurioPrint 2100, which is based on the PRO 1100. If there is anyone who already knows it or the 1100 in terms of reliability, etc., and can comment, I would appreciate it. I worked with the K7085, K7272 which have some distant resemblance and they were bad machines, especially with jams and throwing toner away.
    Thanks in advance.

I liked the B951/B1250 better due to the fact that it allows you to switch the drum potential sensor off to handle very humid environments.

These are awesome machines. The most reliable engine I have work on to date that includes the 951/1052/1250/1100/6120/6136.
Runs cheap and easy to work on and maintain. One small issue is that the machine runs better on paper with the grain in the feed direction. Transfer needs to be adjusted to fix J2101 issue. But that is about it. Great machine to learn on if you are not familiar with production machines. The manual is very comprehensive regarding maintance and part replacement. You will beak a corona wire sooner or later.

We can offer good advice for you here some of the guys here have a great deal of experience on this box.

O and get an air feed PF(paper feed unit) its does not need any roller replacement. Tray 1 and tray 2 rollers does only about 80K and will cause the most frequent callouts on this engine including J2101 due to the separation roller deforming the leading edge ever so slightly causing the drum separation pawls to catch the edge.
    Whatever

1100/2100 are 5x better than the 7085 and 1500x better that that POS 7272.

As Allan indicated above. The 951 that it replaced seemed a bit more reliable than the 1100. That doesn't mean the 1100 is bad. Just not the bulletproof tank that the 951/1052 was.

We have over about 75 of these machines (1100 or 2100's) under our care here, and they are all working great. They seem to be a little more sensitive to developer and drum errors for some reason though.

Like the Bizhub office machines, these units share data amongst various boards so you can't just throw an overall control board at it and walk away.

Having worked with the AccurioPrint 2100, I find it to be a highly reliable piece of equipment. Its foundation on the PRO 1100 platform speaks volumes about its robustness and performance. Unlike the K7085 and K7272, which were notorious for frequent jams and toner wastage, the AccurioPrint 2100 operates smoothly with minimal downtime. Its advanced technology ensures consistent print quality and efficient operation, making it a trustworthy choice for production environments.
