    Unable to export to USB

    Hi All !

    I'm strugling to backup to usb device on a few I-series machines at a customer site.

    Start button doesn't get solid blue. Tried only adresses, with and without password. USB storage is ok and i can eksport to it on other i-series machines. Tried 3 different usb storages.

    I had the same problem a few month ago with another +450i and gave up as i was in a hurry. A few weeks after i tried again without problems

    Any suggetions ?

      there are several options under admin, security, concerning the use of the display usb, you may be restricted from exporting data through it.

          this has also been the case in the first machines, due to a firmware failure, so I advise you to update the firmware if you have not already done so, and set the SW 25 to 30.

              also set sw 72 to hex 04. Also in admin mode under security setting the usb may be restricted

                  does copier detect it to the point of allowing print/scanning via the usb?
                  will the same usb do firmware updates?
